If you are like me, you may have a
lengthy list of Favorite web Sites. Yet it is
difficult to use the drop down menu to access the
particular site in the particular sub-folder.
Now there is an easier way to keep track
of and search your Favorites in Internet Explorer!
Instructions: Click on Favorites
in Internet Explorer's main menu, right click on any
sub-folder in your drop down list, and select Open in
the menu that appears. This will open a Windows Explorer
window. Click on the Up button in the Windows
Explorer toolbar to select the Favorites folder itself.
Then drag the Favorites folder from Windows Explorer's
Address bar to Internet Explorer's Links toolbar.
Then the next time you want a site from
your Favorites list, click on the shortcut in Links.
The Favorites folder will open in Windows Explorer.
Pressing the F3 key launches the standard Search window,
and you can then access the web site you want from your
Favorites list by double clicking on it.
