New
In-house Workshop for Chapters and Other Component Groups
AXI Associate Carol Humphries Named Executive Director of Reflexology Association
Association Xpertise Inc. will be launching its revamped website shortly. AXI President Wayne Amundson provides the rationale for the move - "Our site is getting 5,000+ visitors per month, primarily as a result of The Canadian Association e-zine. The site revamping will allow us to keep pace with the interests and needs of these visitors."
Later this fall, AXI will undertake a revamp of The Canadian Association e-zine.
AXI's Chairing a Better Meeting and Minute-Taking Standards and Issues workshops are coming to Edmonton on November 18th. Further details will be released in late September. You can check out the Calgary session descriptions from last spring at Chairing and Minutes.
Here is a sampling of the participants' comments from those sessions:

AXI has been engaged to deliver a workshop for the directors of component groups. The session focuses on trends in association components, better practices in volunteer board governance and operations, better practices in constituency relations, and better practices in component board and annual meetings. Contact Wayne Amundson to inquire about booking this workshop for your component volunteers.
